Just in case anyone is wondering what type of battery Configuration that is needed here is a picture - Strange or what !!! and it's also fitted into the body and grip of the Type 97 - so you charge it in place.

does it take a 8.4v or 9.6v?
It's strange - as the normal type battery it can take is this configuration so it is only an 8.4 - but real Sword say that it can take a LiPo battery and a normal cell is 3.7 volts not 1.2 and I think the smallest you can get is 9Volts (3 cell Lipo)
